Notes
* Harlune is one of the few Yalain left on Dereth. He used to live in the Mite Maze with his wife Alia Dunolmad and his pet Alfrega the Reedshark.
* During the Dispatch event, Harlune left Mite Maze. His current location is unknown Roderick is nearby in Mite Maze and claims to be acting on behalf of Harlune (he performs interactions needed to complete Harlune's associated quests). However, the veracity of his claims have not been verified (we need to find and speak to Harlune).
* For the Lore Character, see Harlune

Harlune had several things to say if you spoke to him. If you spoke to him enough, he gave you the starting rumor for the Mt. Lethe Recall quest.

<font color=darkgoldenrod>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Leave me alone!"<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Never seen an Empyrean before? Shoo! Shoo! I have work to do."<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "I liberate some of your people from a despotic ruler...think you could show a little bit of respect!"<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "What, looking for some great quest, some grand purpose from the Empyrean? Go away!"<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Alfrega, Alfrega girl! Fresh meat!"<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Go away! And don't tell Asheron I'm down here! Never could stand the man..."<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Off with you, I'm a busy mage!"<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Did you know that Empyreans have 14 schools of magic? Would you like me to demonstrate them all on you?"<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "You best not have done anything to Alfrega, if you know what's good for you..."<br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "It was so much better when you people thought I was one of you. That's impossible now though, thanks to that cretin Gaerlan."<br>

Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Well if you are going to continue to bother me, you can at least do something for me. Take this note to Ceclynd in Rithwic."<br>
<font color=green>Harlune the Misanthrope gives you A Crabbed Note.</font><br>
Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "He borrowed one of my history books sometime ago and didn't return it because he became a drunken waste. Probably spilled alcohol all over it."<br>

Celcynd the Dour tells you, "Oh. Yeah, I have that. If Harlune sent you, you must be getting something back from him, right? I'll tell you what. There's this... this thing that I need. From a volcano in the Direlands."<br>
Celcynd the Dour tells you, "You'll find it at the very bottom, but you must be level 20 or above to get in. Wait, I'll write you the location."<br>

The Temple of Xik Minru
:You give Harlune the Misanthrope Rose Quartz Wedding Ring.
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "What is this now! You bring me more broken garbage to..."
:Harlune pauses mid-rant and stares upon the ring you handed to him.
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "I haven't seen this in ages. I thought it long lost."
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "You must have some idea of what this is by now. Otherwise you would never have brought it to me. This is the Rose of Celdon."
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Keep it. If the news dear Alia brings back with her from her excursions to Arwic hold true, it may once again be of use to your people."
:Harlune the Misanthrope gives you Rose of Celdon.

Collegium Occultus Ring Quest
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "You best not have done anything to Alfrega, if you know what's good for you..."
:You give Harlune the Misanthrope Broken Occultus Seal.
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Zounds! This broken seal can only mean that there are intruders in... Welll [sic], never mind. :You must go back to the Golem Balior in Knorr and help it with whatever it asks you to do."
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "No doubt it will be a secret and sensitive task. Be discreet. I won't mention this to you again, until you return with some sign from Balior that you have helped."

:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Go away! And don't tell Asheron I'm down here! Never could stand the man..."
:You give Harlune the Misanthrope Void Crystal.
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "Oh ho! So Balior is passing the hot potato to me! That fussy old Golem was always a little too eager to remind people of their duties. Well, it is technically correct. If the Collegium Occultus has been compromised, a Golem cannot be relied upon to protect this thing."
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "I suppose I must hang on to it and keep it out of that blue-skinned devil's clutches until, uh... Well, for a while. Thanks, youngster."
:Harlune the Misanthrope gives you Collegium Occultus Ring.
:Harlune the Misanthrope tells you, "I know, I ought to reward you for all your hard work, and lugging this thing back to me... What's this I have in my pocket? There you go. Enjoy. Where did I get such a thing, you ask? Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies."
