== Overview ==
Quest to destroy a replica of the powerful [[Caulnalain Soul Crystal|Soul Crystal]] that was once found in the Caulnalain Chamber.

;Prerequisites
* Retrieve a {{Itemlink|Caulnalain Key}} as a trophy from [[Shadow Lieutenant]]s, [[Sinister Shadow]]s and [[Lesser Void Knight]]s. You can find Lieutenants in the Caulnalain dungeon itself.

== Walkthrough & Notes ==
# Once you portal in, jump down into the area below using either the east or west room, it doesn't matter which.
# At the bottom go into the south west room and head down the passage, once you reach the T section head left and then take the second left turn heading south.
# You will come to a room with green lighting in two corners, take the east passage from this room and just follow the path all the way to the room with the [[Caulnalain Gate]]. You will find that the gate is just metres away from the pit you dropped into at the start.
# Use a [[Caulnalain Key]] on the gate to receive a {{Itemlink|Caulnalain Portal Gem}}.
# After using the portal gem, head up the slope to the doorway and go right. Follow the left wall down the corridor to the first drop. (Careful, this is a decently long drop). Now exit the room going right and follow the right wall to the second drop and jump down. Now take the east exit from the room and turn left at the fork. Follow this corridor all the way to the [[Caulnalain Crystal]].
#* Note: The Caulnalain Crystal has high regeneration and a decent amount of hit points for a quest of this level. It also heals itself and drains your health.
# Once you have defeated the crystal loot a gem (it drops 5 in total).
# Go to [[Al-Arqas]] for the turn-in. There are 3 NPCs on the roof of the building at (31.3S, 13.5E). Each one gives a different reward (See Rewards table below).

;Notes
* The untranslated text, {{Itemlink|Throbbing Lump}}, is dropped by the [[Caulnalain Shadow Leader]] in the [[Caulnalain Chamber]].
* If you continue on into the sections behind the [[Caulnalain Crystal]] you will find lots of areas that spawn [[Crystal Spur]]s. The Spurs drop [[Tiny Shard]]s, which can be given to [[Gersan the Sureshot]] for 30 {{Itemlink|Bundle of Crystal Arrowheads|Crystal Arrowheads}}. The arrowheads can be used to fletch ammunition for crystal missile weapons.
