Au is a word in both the Yalaini and Tumerok languages.
Yalaini
Au: Known meanings are light, star, thought, self.[1] Au also specifically refers to the star that Auberean orbits.[2][3] An assumed meaning is I.[4]
Tumerok
Au: Spirit. Used in the titles Aua and Auri.[5]
Apocrypha
The Yalaini word might have origins in Falatacot, as the word Au, referring to the sun, appears multiple times in Ibrexi Jikti's Journal and in the temple of Hizk Ri.[2][6][7] However, it is possible that the word Au has been translated from the original Falatacot into Roulean, and Au is used in Roulean as the name of the sun.
