Overview
Uncover more of the alliance between the Renegade Tumeroks and Lugians and the Burun.
When this quest was first added, Royal Guard Gabrielle had a specific rumor related to the starting location. In its current state, there is very little information to get you started on this quest. Gabrielle will tell you the general area where the dungeon may be found, but the majority of her dialog is related to the Noble Weapons Quest.
Lockpick is needed to unlock the 124 difficulty door in the Burun Cathedral.
Walkthrough & Notes
- Optional: Speak to Royal Guard Gabrielle at 10.5N, 58.2E in Rithwic. She will tell you the general areas where six different renegade/burun locations may be found, including this one.
- Go to the Small Complex at 39.1S, 53.4W in the East Direlands Swamp.
- Route: Town Network to Dryreach, Dryreach to East Direlands Swamp portal at 8.1S, 74.4E. Run northeast to the dungeon.
- From the drop, take the north passage and then take all left turns to get to the bottom of the dungeon.
- Kill Captain Waliknua and loot a Strong Iron Key from his corpse (drops 6).
- Portal recall, exit, and head to the Burun Cathedral at 42.3S,52.6W, a short run from the Small Complex.
- Go north through the main large room and pick open the locked door (resistance: 124), hug the left wall from the T section until you go down a ramp.
- After the ramp down, hug the right wall and you will end up in a small room with a surface portal and the Renegade Chest.
- Use your Strong Iron Key to open the chest, which contains 10 Renegade Herbal Kits, Correspondence and a Renegade Stone Clasp. If in a fellowship, check the burden of the chest before unlocking (6,475 burden is when all items inside have respawned, takes approximately 300 seconds, or 30 seconds per kit).

- Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "It has come to our attention that the Lord Kresovus has managed to get a warrior into the Renegade army. According to the latest reports from High Queen Elysa this warrior is currently stationed in the Renegade Fortress in the direlands. He has earned much trust and been appointed to a position of some authority."
- Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "For the past several days Captain K'rank, the lugian in charge of this operation and several other investigations for High Queen Elysa and our allies, has been waiting for a report. He fears the worst and needs our help in trying to contact the lugian spy, Toberik."
- Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "We're also monitoring other situations as well: Fadsahil's old shop in the A'mun desert, the Blackmire Swamp near Yanshi, the southern border of the Blackmire Swamp heading toward Shoushi, the Direlands Swamp in what used to be the Sclavus Cathedral there, near Stonehold and along the Prosper River."
- Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "If you can make your way to the Renegade fortress in the direlands and find this lugian I am certain that your efforts would be rewarded."

- Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "Hail, friend. High Queen Elysa has asked me to keep citizens informed of increased Renegade activity. I've been informed, only recently, that there has been some activity amongst the Renegades in the Direlands Swamp. In fact, the rumors that I've received place the activity in a complex not far from where that strange portal found in the Blackmire Temple sends you. If you have the desire, please look into this for us."
