Built alongside the server

Other projects

Player-side software written alongside the server. Everything below is MIT-licensed, written from scratch, and cloneable from this server — no GitHub account needed. Each repository's README says what it builds against and how. For the original Asheron's Call client there is RynthCore and its RynthSuite plugins, with a page of their own for downloads and release notes.

These are player tools, not server mods. The server's own source — ACE and every mod loaded into it — is at /source/.

Bot · client plugin

DrakBot

A bot: buffing, fighting, looting, dungeon patrols, VTank-style metas and nav routes (.met, .af, .nav), loot profiles (.utl), a monster HUD, pets, doors, follow, and a phone remote. It runs the Colosseum unattended, hour after hour, and it runs headless as well as in the client. Clean room — nothing in it comes from VirindiTank or any other closed tool.

Get it. The easy way is the DrakLauncher: it installs the client with DrakBot inside and keeps both current. Already running the OpenAC client? Take DrakBot.zip and unzip the folder into %LocalAppData%\acdream\plugins\ — the client loads it on the next start (client 0.1.15 or later; the bare client is at downloads/client). Metas, nav routes and loot profiles go under %AppData%\acdream\plugins\acdream.drakbot\ (metas, routes, loot, autovendor); VTank .met/.nav/.utl and UtilityBelt profiles are read as they are. Last built 21 September 2026.

Client · OpenAC

The client

Aelrynth's client is OpenAC, a from-scratch Asheron's Call client with a public plugin contract, built here as the Aelrynth distribution: the launcher, the managed world data, and the server's own content. Version 0.1.18 (23 September 2026) is rebuilt on OpenAC's latest main, with DrakBot 0.3.0 inside, hot-reloadable plugins, and two clients on one account without treading on each other's settings. Download DrakLauncher to get it; it updates itself from the feed.

git clone https://aelrynth.com/git/OpenAC.gitthe client, branch aelrynth (the default)
/pluginswhat is loaded; /plugins reload <id> reloads one in place

Map · client plugin

DrakMap

A dungeon map in the overlay: the floor plan of the dungeon you are in — storeys, floors, ramps, walls, north up — with you and the way you face, hostiles, corpses, NPCs and vendors, portals, players, doors and lifestones drawn over it. Mouse wheel zooms, drag pans, a button follows you. It began as DrakBot's map window and now stands on its own.

Launcher strip · client plugin

DrakBar

One row of icon buttons, one per plugin that has windows to show, lit while that plugin's main window is open. Click to toggle it, right-click for the plugin's other windows. DrakBar knows no plugin in advance: any plugin that answers its small chat-command protocol gets a place on the bar. DrakBot and DrakMap are the first two.

Phone app · iOS

DrakRemote

Watches and drives your game clients from your phone through the remote listener built into DrakBot: status, vitals and buffs, inventory, the meta state, a live view of the screen, dungeon floor plans, and a command line to the bot. The listener is off unless you configure it and only listens where you tell it to. On TestFlight while it is being finished.

Original client · modding host and plugins

RynthCore and RynthSuite

For the original Asheron's Call client (acclient.exe): RynthCore is the modding host — a launcher, an engine injected into the client, and an in-game overlay for plugin windows — and RynthSuite is its plugins: RynthAi (the bot), RynthChat, RynthNav, RynthTracker and RynthVision. The launcher keeps itself and the plugins up to date.
