Inventory panel

Added in RynthCore 2026.9.30.6. Classic look added in .7; size buttons and foci in the pack slots added in .8.

What it is

The Inventory panel is RynthCore's own inventory window. It comes in two looks. Classic copies the retail inventory window, with the same pictures, a paperdoll, the burden meter and pack slots. Modern is a plainer list with packs down the side and an icon grid. Both let you use, move, equip, drop, give and split items, and both have search, sort and filters. The panel sends one item action at a time and tells you what the server did with it. It sits alongside the retail inventory window; it doesn't replace or hide it.

How to open it

  • Click the Inventory button on the RynthCore bar, or
  • type /rc inv.

It opens in the Classic look the first time. Like other panels, it can be popped out into its own window.

The two looks

Classic

  • Title bar: "Inventory of your name", with four small buttons on the right:
    • - and + make the whole window smaller or bigger, in steps of 10%, from 50% to 150%. It starts at 80%. Hover them to see the current size.
    • the funnel shows or hides a row with search, sort and filters;
    • the squares icon switches to the Modern look.
  • The retail close button is at the far right.
  • Paperdoll: your equipment slots in their retail places. Empty slots show their retail picture; hover one to see its name. A worn item shows in every slot it covers, so a hauberk fills the chest, abdomen and arm slots. The Aetheria slots only appear once you've unlocked them.
  • Burden: the percentage and the retail meter. The meter is a third full at 100% and full at 300%.
  • Pack column (right): your main pack, then your side packs, then any foci. Each pack has a small fill bar, and the open pack has a gold arrow.
  • Grid (bottom): "Contents of Backpack", or the side pack's name, with the open pack's slots in the retail 6-wide grid. Scroll with the mouse wheel or the chain scrollbar.
  • Status strip (very bottom): messages about your item actions. When there's nothing to report, it shows your pyreals. The small Drop and Give targets are on the right.

Making the window taller adds rows to the grid and the pack column. Making it wider adds columns.

Modern

  • Top line: burden as a percentage (green, amber above 90%, red above 100%; hover for exact numbers), your pyreals and how many items are showing. The window icon at the right switches back to Classic.
  • Search and sort: a Search names box and a sort button (Pack order, Name, Value, Burden, Type, Stack).
  • Category chips: All, Weapons, Armor, Jewelry, Usable, Comps, Salvage, Misc.
  • Pack list (left): All packs, your main pack, each side pack with its fill count (like "12/24"), and Worn. Click one to show its items.
  • Grid: item icons with stack counts. Worn items have an amber outline; the item you last clicked has a teal outline.
  • Equip, Drop and Give targets, then the status line at the bottom.

Your choice of look is remembered.

The basics

Select and use

  • Click an item to select it. Classic marks it with the retail yellow square.
  • Double-click an item to use it, the same as double-clicking in the retail window. A potion is drunk, a kit is used, and so on.
  • Hover an item for its tooltip: name, stack, value, burden and workmanship. Once the item has been identified, the tooltip also shows its mana and spells. If it hasn't been identified yet, hold the mouse on it for a moment. The tooltip says "Identifying..." while it asks the server.

Right-click menu

Right-click an item for:

  • Use
  • Equip
  • Split... (stacks only)
  • Move to, with a list of your packs
  • Drop
  • Give to name (only when you have someone selected)

Drag and drop

Drag an item onto...What happens
a packit moves into that pack (the whole stack)
the grid of an open packit moves into that pack
a paperdoll slot (Classic)you wear it in that slot. A ring goes on the hand you chose; armour covers all of its slots.
Equip or Worn (Modern)you wear or wield it. Rings and bracelets go on a free side.
Dropit's dropped on the ground at your feet
Giveit's given to whoever you have selected in game

To take something off, drag it from the paperdoll (Classic) or the Worn list (Modern) onto a pack or the grid.

While you drag in Classic, a green mark shows where the item can go and a red "no" sign shows where it can't.

You can also click Drop, Give or Equip to act on the item you last clicked.

Give

  1. Select an NPC, a creature or a player in the game.
  2. The Give target now reads Give: name. It's greyed out when nothing suitable is selected.
  3. Drag an item onto it, or select the item and click it.

Split a stack

  1. Right-click a stack and choose Split....
  2. Use the slider or type the amount to split off.
  3. Pick the pack for the new stack.
  4. Click Split.

Search and filters

  • Classic: click the funnel in the title bar to show the search, sort and filter row.
  • Modern: the search box, sort and category chips are always there.

While a search or a filter is on, the grid lists matching items from every pack. In Classic the caption reads something like "Matches in all packs: 3 of 150". Clear the search to get the open pack back.

Pack slots and foci

Foci, such as a Foci of Enchantment, take a pack slot like retail, not a place in the item grid.

  • In Classic, foci sit in the pack column, right after your side packs.
  • They don't count toward the main pack's 102 items.
  • A focus can only go in your main pack. The panel refuses to move one into a side pack, and nothing is sent.
  • Only foci can go in the pack column. Dropping anything else there shows the red mark, and nothing is sent.
  • A focus cell works like any other item: click, double-click, hover, right-click, or drag it to Drop or Give.
  • The tooltip says "Uses a pack slot (main pack only)".
  • In Modern, foci are listed with the main pack's items.
  • A search or filter finds foci in both looks.

One action at a time

The game client only allows one item request at a time. If you send a second one too soon, the client refuses it with "You can only move or use one item at a time". The panel avoids this:

  • It sends one action, then waits for the server.
  • While it waits, any other item action you try is refused, not queued. Nothing happens later by surprise. Try again once the first one finishes.
  • The wait ends when the panel sees the result (the item arrives, is worn, the stack shrinks, or it leaves your packs), when the server refuses, when the item vanishes, or after 6 seconds.
  • Just before sending, it checks again that the item and the target still exist and are still yours.
  • A move into a full pack is refused before anything is sent.

What the status messages mean

MessageMeaning

Still waiting for the server: ...You tried a second action while the first was still out. It was not sent.
Another item action is about to be sent.Same idea: you clicked twice very quickly.
Moved / Equipped / Dropped / Used / Split / Gave ... (green)It worked.
Refused: ... (error 0x...) (red)The server said no.
... is gone. / ... is no longer in your packs. The item went away before the action could be sent.
That pack is gone. / The give target is gone. The pack or the person you were giving to went away.
... is full, or the move isn't possible. The pack is full. Nothing was sent.
... doesn't go in the ... slot. You dropped an item on a paperdoll slot it can't use. Nothing was sent.
Take ... off before dropping it. / ...before giving it.Worn items have to come off first.
No answer seen for: ... You can act again.Six seconds passed with no sign of a result. The panel stops waiting. Check whether it happened.

Results stay on screen for about 8 seconds.

Tips

  • If the Classic window is too big or too small, use the - and + buttons in its title bar.
  • To find something quickly, open the funnel and type part of its name. It searches every pack at once.
  • Drop an item straight onto a paperdoll slot to pick which hand a ring goes on.
  • Retail doesn't show a pyreal total in this window, so Classic shows it in the status strip when nothing else is going on.
  • Icons can take a second or two to appear the first time you open the panel.

Known limits

  • New panel. Please report anything odd.
  • The bot acts too. RynthAi's looting and stacking send item actions of their own, and the panel doesn't coordinate with them. If you act at the same moment the bot does, the client may refuse one of the two with its own chat line. Nothing breaks; just try again. In that case the panel may wait the full 6 seconds and then say "No answer seen".
  • Item order follows the order the items were created, which may not match the order in the retail window.
  • No 3D figure. Retail can show your character model on the paperdoll. Classic always shows the slots view instead.
  • Moving a worn item straight to another slot (a ring from one hand to the other) isn't supported. Take it off, then drop it on the other slot.
  • Drop and Give use targets. In retail you drop an item by dragging it into the world. Here you use the Drop and Give targets.
  • Not drawn yet: shortcut-bar numbers on items, cooldown sweeps, and sale or trade markers.
  • The retail inventory window stays. There is no option to hide it yet.
  • Burden percentage uses the standard formula. A server with custom carrying rules could show a different number from what it really uses.
  • Size buttons are in the Classic title bar only.
